Antenna & Propagation Engineer

This position requires a blend of expertise in Antenna Theory, Electromagnetic Propagation, Computational Electromagnetics (CEM), and Software Development. Experience and a strong interest in applying CEM techniques such as Physical Optics, Finite Elements, and Method of Moments for antenna analysis are highly desirable. Knowledge of computer programming languages such as C/C++ or Java is also required. In addition to developing and enhancing CEM tools, the engineer will be required to use commercial CEM tools such as HFSS, XFDTD, and Wireless INSITE to develop parametric antenna models, perform CEM simulations, and conduct propagation analysis.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

·    Antenna Design and Analysis

·    Computational Electromagnetic techniques (Physical Objects, FEM, Method of Moments)

·    Software Development (C/C++, Java, or other modern programming language)

REQUIREMENTS:

·    B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in engineering or physics

·    Strong problem solving skills

·    Must be detail oriented and organized

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·    Development and enhancement of antenna analysis tools

·    Development of parametric antenna models

·    Antenna analysis and design

·    Propagation analysis

·    User training on analysis tools

·    Frequent interaction with Sponsor
